About Katie

A self-described optimist and dreamer, Katie Joyner is a graduate of Salem College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. After earning a degree in communications, Katie moved to the beautiful Savannah, Georgia to pursue new creative grounds and attend Savannah College of Art and Design. She graduated in 2005 with a Masters of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.

Katie now lives in Savannah with her husband, Michael; two dogs, Nina and Eli; and cat, Mason. In addition to photography, Katie’s hobbies include gardening, scuba diving, graphic design, and travelling. She currently works as a Senior Graphic Designer for a local Savannah company and photographs weddings and other special events for clients across the east coast.
